The PS5 and Xbox Series X and S versions of Marvel's Avengers delayed to 2021

Marvel’s Avengers aimed to be one of those video games that everyone should have in their library, but the truth is that its launch has not been very good after the thousands of errors it had or the fact that its number of players has plummeted in just one month.

Crystal Dynamics has recognized this terrible situation in a statement that it has published in which it expresses that the quality of the game has not been as good as the team wanted. This has led him to promise that in the future he will try even harder to ensure that future content meets high standards and will carry out extensive tests until the result is satisfactory.

However, this implies a modification in the dates of the future contents that were planned. Therefore, the versions for PS5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X will not be ready on the launch day of these consoles and are delayed until 2021. With this extra time, it is expected that the company will have enough time to offer an experience worthy of the next generation.

The same will happen with the new characters that were going to arrive for free with their respective missions. So Kate Bishop won’t be joining the Avengers this month and neither will Hawkeye in November. Both DLCs will be assigned a new date that will be revealed later. In addition, Crystal Dynamics has advanced that by 2021 we will also see more superheroes who will follow the same path.

At least, to compensate for these inconveniences, from October 22 to November 5 all players will receive a pack loaded with items in which they can find 1,500 credits, 250 upgrade modules, or 20 DNA keys, among other items.

At the same time, he has guaranteed that he will continue to work on more updates based on the comments of the fans in order to achieve that the quality of Marvel’s Avengers is much better than the current one.
